You have been uniquely created and Purposefully Planted to bear some amazing fruit for Almighty God Himself for a GreatBig Life!
Finding your purpose can feel elusive but it is one of the most important experiences in your spiritual journey.
Here are some bible verses that will keep you inspired on the journey to purpose.
God uniquely designed you for a purpose
Psalm 139:14-16 NIV
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
You Have Been Purposefully Planted
John 15:16 AMP
You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.
God is Working Out His Plans for You
Psalm 138:8
The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love,
O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
God Had You In Mind Before You Were Born
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
God Saved You For A Purpose
2 Tim 1:9
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
God Will Reveal His Purpose for You Through the Holy Spirit
1 Cor 2:9-12
However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
Are you searching for your God-given purpose? How has God revealed Himself to you on your Pathway to Purpose?
I am at a point in my life where I’m trying to figure out what God wants for my life and also for my boyfriend, but I’ve learnt that he will never discover his purpose in life, unless he has the Holy Spirit living inside of him and by that he first needs to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour and be baptized into Christ to receive the Holy Spirit. So yeah keep praying for young dating couples so that we’re able to discover our purpose in life and live accordingly.
Hi Lawrelle! It’s so true that we can only be an example for others, but we cannot change them. Keep seeking Christ with your whole heart and He will reveal His Purposes for your life!!! Be Blessed!
I think praying for wisdom has been a blessing for me. I have grown hundred fold in the last 2+ years in the things of God.
That’s wonderful Ryan! God’s wisdom is what it takes for us to grow and transform into who He has called us to be! Thank you for stopping by!
I think our God-given talents and the gifts of the Holy Spirit hold valuable clues as to our life’s purpose.
They absolutely do! Thanks for sharing and stopping by Dr. Miriam…have a blessed day!
I think so many of us struggle with hearing the holy spirit and learning how to discern it from the noise. I have sometimes thought to myself that I was not good enough to deserve blessings or answered prayers because they were going unanswered for decades. I still havent figured it all out but I continue to pray that the Lord will open my eyes and let me hear his plans for me. Thanks for sharing Neca!
I totally agree Deanna! Learning to get quiet to hear the still small voice is certainly a discipline we could all benefit from. Thanks for visiting!
Amen…and oh how I want to remember these when I am hitting myself over the head for things I do or ways I look or do not look. Thank you as I know God has purpose for me and I am His creation. Praising Him.
Amen! How true!
I like to say that w/o Christ we are missing our true purpose – knowing He’s chosen me to be His makes it worthwhile and exciting to get out of bed every day. Blessings on your ministry! sue

Should you already know what your gifts/talents are before you start finding your purpose? Does that make sense? If the key is using your God given gifts and talents FOR your purpose and you don’t even know what those are, is there something wrong with you??? I’ve always done automotive title work for a living (mostly!, but have also done other jobs) and I counted and have been let go, whether the dealership was closing or making cutbacks, 7 TIMES!! So this last year a half of serious afflictions, I realized maybe God doesn’t want me to do title work anymore?? I enjoyed it very much and was really good at it. Right now, all I have is a part time online job with a minimum of 15, max 26 hrs per week with not even the minimum hrs guaranteed…and I HATE the work! lol Ok, before I write my own blog here lol any thoughts or helps??
Thanks!
