Whatever it is -fear keeps you from Greatness…it keeps you from serving and helping the people that God has ordained for you to serve.

There countless bible verses on fear – God knew how hard we would struggle with fear and how it would stop us from being able to discern His voice so that we can walk in purpose.

1. To conquer fear, you must believe that God is truly your protector.
Genesis 15:1
After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”

2. Even when you don’t see it, God has already made a way for you.
Deuteronomy 1:21
See, the LORD your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

3. The Lord has already gone before you, there is no need to be afraid.
Deuteronomy 31:6-8
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you”. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

4. Living courageously is a command! God is with you no matter where you are.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

5. Don’t allow fear to make you play small. You were created for more – so stand up and do it!
Ezra 10:4
Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

6. You have dominion over all things – thus they should be in fear and awe of you – not the other way around.
Genesis 9:2
The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.

7. You have no need to fear because whatever you are worried about – God has already conquered it.
Joshua 10:25
And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

8. The Lord sends His angels to protect you, even when you are unaware.
2 Kings 6:16
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

9. When God has given you a seemingly impossible assignment, there is no need to fear, fret or worry because He will be with you to complete it.
1 Chronicles 28:20
David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.

10. Remember that God is your light, salvation and strength – let nothing frighten you.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

11. God will give you the strength to endure whatever comes your way so there is no need to be afraid.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.

12. My Father is with me and I’m am protected on all sides.
Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

13. No matter the circumstance, you can still have confidence that God will pull you through.
Psalm 27:3
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

14. Christ has already conquered all that you fear, now receive the peace that He makes available to you.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

15. You are protected through every trial you can imagine – there is no need to fear.
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.

16. You have the courage to conquer and take hold of what God has ordained for you.
Numbers 13:30
Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

17. God will make your heart strong as you hope in Him.
Psalm 31:24
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

18. Remind yourself daily who your are in Christ and live in it. When you do so you will realize there is nothing to be afraid of.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a[special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

19. Allow God to be your confidence – not confidence in yourself.
Proverbs 3:26
For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

20. When you trust man more than you trust God, you are sure to lose faith and live in fear.
Psalm 118:9
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

21. No matter your age God still has great things in store for you – it’s never too late and there is no need to fear.
Psalm 27:13
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

22. Conquer fear by standing up to those things that seem insurmountable.
1 Samuel 17:26
David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

23. The only weapon you need to conquer fear is the name of the Lord!
1 Samuel 17:45
David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

24. Remember the things that God has already delivered you from to give you the courage to conquer your fear.
1 Samuel 17:37
David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.

25. You were created to conquer and subdue all that you fear.
Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

26. When fear comes, stand on God’s promise and watch it disappear.
Exodus 14:13
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.”

27. Receive God’s power, love and the ability to calm your mind to relinquish fear.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

28. No one can harm you because the Lord is always at our side.
Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

29. Banish fear and anxiety with love!

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

30. You can always have courage because Jesus is always near.
Matthew 14:27

31. No matter what negative thing comes situation comes – it will always fail.
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Whatever you are in fear of or anxious about – pray, pray and pray again.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
